Not only do we pray for ourselves to keep in relationship with God, we bear the burdens of others by lifting them up in prayer.

The LORD calls us to pray without ceasing.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says,"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
